I have been part of the MUP editorial team since 2012 and am responsible for commissioning in Modern history, medical history, heritage and archaeology. I’m looking for monographs and edited volumes that are innovative, theoretically informed and based on strong empirical research. Those that highlight previously unheard voices are especially welcome. Core areas for the list include social and cultural history, gender and sexuality, medicine, imperialism, pop culture and radical history. I’m proud to look after several series, many of which have led the way in their field for decades: Studies in Imperialism, Gender in History, Social Histories of Medicine (see our series page for a full list).
