AI FUTURES is the first book series which presents a critical analysis of Artificial Intelligence with a particular emphasis on its implication for society. It connects current research into the ethics of AI, to research initiatives focused on the variegated impacts of Artificial Intelligence, including on marginalised communities and on the Global South. As such, AI FUTURES encompasses a unique range of studies into the political, socio-economic, medical, biological and environmental questions raised by the onset of this new age in global history.
